My Lips Are Sealed

My Lips Are Sealed

A Poem by Frieda P

My lips are sealed
cause no one wants to f*****g believe it

my hands are tied
                                      cause you've bamboozled the family

my psyche is in denial

cause that's the only way I can exist

my vision's a blur
cause what's a reality would make me sick

my ears are deaf
cause the excuses make my skin crawl

my heart is closed
cause I'm afraid of bleeding out

my eyes are blind
cause I don't want to face the truth

Thanks, that's what it feels like to me too.
Your words really grab my heartstrings!! Gripping is not even near enough of a description to actually describe the emotions you convey!! The "all" of one cannot accept the reality. Truth shall set you free, but the truth is often so, so hard to deal with!!!
I admire you for speaking about it!!!!

Thank you muchly for reading.
For a deaf, blind, mute and shackled person you do say some truths. And whatever you think, there is no trace of denial in that. Brillant.

Wow, thanks...bursting with creativity, made my day. :-)
A very sad and emotion filled poem, delivered with clarity and such control. We do what we have to, to be able to go on and face the day. Like John, I also look forward to one day reading a joyful poem from you.
