An Ether Twist

An Ether Twist

A Poem by Reclaimed
"

"call me evil call me tide is on your side anything that you want" tori amos is glorious ((also, everything in quotes is from one Tori Amos song or another))

"

confusing atom bombs with placebos

comfort in catchy jingles; dirty mind poisons

rock goddess's roiling in the glory of the gods

the placebos and the poison's confusions

~a lusting pool~

"is you real or a ghost lie?"

Ooh-de-la-lay; sounds like silk out the mouth

but it's disgusting; so the f**k's in a name anyway?

not familair like shoes; familiar like that which buffers the cold

human familiar comfort familiar

like leather like suede like gloves for the afraid

we feel it, when the fear becomes great

it's here that we lie, grasping the precious in common

"do your worst"

a being

 busy recognizing nothing

truly then

tide need not be on his side; with an ether twist; always revving

yes he's revving

"call me evil call me tide is on your side anything that you want"

passed on like a ponzi scheme

"is you real or a ghost lie?"

can you be anything that you want?
