My corner

We all have to be alone sometimes

When the time comes

I sit in my corner

Waiting for everyone

To leave.

In the corner I feel safe

All alone and far away

From every judgement

I feel.

My corner is private

Nobody can come in

It’s only for me

Nobody else.

Time flies in the corner

That’s just how I want it

I just want everything to leave

Away from me.

People come by

To check in on me

But not to help but to

Say Hi.

Every hi I hear

I spend more time in the corner

Maybe I’ll dig a little hole

So I can be alone

All day.

It reminds me of My own little corner from the Cinderella musical, its awesome stuff that you have written although your version is different from the musical it still has that feeling of alone and peace. Keep it up
