That Filial Bond We ShareA Poem by anonymously anishaWe're all in this togetherA class is a family in the strangest of ways Bonded not by blood or friendship But by the passing of days. Different backgrounds, different dreams, Different pages of a story, Are bound with common seams And together share the glory. Though each student toils at their hour of choice And writes with a distinct and individual voice, Both the know-it-all and the unseen sleeper Are in union with their classmates; Each their brother’s keeper. © 2010 anonymously anisha |
