I'm Not A Chai Latte

I'm Not A Chai Latte

A Poem by anonymously anisha
"

I'm sorry :(

"
The stiffness
the rigidness that defines me
that alienates me
from even the ones who understand.
Why do I wait until the car
to cry?
Why does my voice get deeper
like coarse velvet,
cuts like ice
when I wish it to be a
creamy chai latte,
a warm embrace,
a reassuring smile,
friendliness,
grace,
style.

I'm not like the others
but I want you to know
I'd do anything for you,
I wish it would show.

I liked this a lot. The title made me wonder and curiosity made me read it in. Nice work.
