Thank You Sew Much

Thank You Sew Much

A Poem by anonymously anisha
"

A poem about a guy who is always there for me

"
I broke your heart,
and still you slowly stitch
mine back together.
A master mender.
Nothing in it for you,
and yet you sew away.
You look into my eyes
and tell me that I matter,
your silver sliver of a needle
pokes through my disguise.
You've proven to me that love
in its purest form exists.
That love, though stomped on,
for years can persist.
You've woven attention
and affection
into a beautiful crochet
and you offer it to me
every other day.

A poem woven with a sense of humor and a sliver of gentleness of expression. Nice write.
