Half of Me

Half of Me

A Poem by Frensy Ritz Barretto
"

A sort of deep thoughts about my inner side.

"
Half of me

Skin covered with black petals
Old songs or metals
Dont care with gold or silver medals
But dont try me I fight with betrayals

With thick pinkish blood running through my veins
Strong as I could reign
Voices that you should not be against
Intimidating personality they whispered in their brains

Unlimited imaginations that I could do
Fairy-tales that I do believe will come true
Eyes that cry with tears of blue
Lists of passions I should pursue

Two hands I write for what is right
Like flowers I bloom at night
Sun and stars made me bright
So does nature made me delight

Destiny, fate or kismet
And Hopeless romantic until we met
Beating heart that couldn't forget
Cupid I blame for shooting not an arrow but a bullet

A soul you should behold
In the windows of my eyes so bold
Billions of stories untold
And never gets old

Finish line, not yet please
More bumps, curves, and zigzags to seize
And challenges I cope up with God I wish
Cause I'm still working on my masterpiece.
