A Poem by FreezingIris

The rhythmic beating of Thunder’s full light

Braces against the insidiousness of Night

Tiny holes peak through its dark curtain

Moon sits precariously on his perch " uncertain

Most have succumbed to the power of sleep

Ocean runs through Horizon, unendingly deep

Rain overpowers all underneath

Clouds gather more and more, under Night’s bequeath

Moon, already hidden, by Cloud’s might

Gives way to Sun, with impaired sight

Sun, ready to battle Thunder, Rain, and Cloud

Takes a deep breath and prepares to get loud

He shoots off his rays with a powerful bellow

Until Cloud starts to fade, replaced by yellow

Horizon begins to blush, Ocean turns blue

Rain turns to Drizzle, and Thunder’s been through

Night is long gone " he’s a coward, no doubt

For Sun always chases him away with a shout

Drizzle soon gives, along with the clouds

So that Sun in the sky is the only thing allowed

He does give his leniency to Fauna and Breeze

And they slip into their places with valiant ease

People is happy and Flora cheers too

Another beautiful day begins anew
