Angels

Angels

A Poem by Nadi Liang

Quivering fragments etched beneath,

The glimmering shadows buffering their own

Out here in the twilight’s sheath,

An ethereal explosion of stars onto which sown

Pearly beads transformed into song,

Accented by their blithe chords

Starlight illumination all million miles long,

Endless twirling with them under the gaze of the Lords

Those days, nights, memories,

Can never be mentioned by another as dear

With the joy in their heart’s blessings,

Giggling spun out of the dawn’s silver lair

Arising as one, dancing among the rings of Uranus,

A puerile, vivacious demeanor

Enlightening one more weary, prone to querulous

Behaving-ings, shy-er dreamer

Transforming those bleak, dank, stone-laden woes

Lifted into the luminescence of the starry foil

Their words turn the ghosts to close,

To them forever, I shall be loyal.
