Tragedy

Tragedy

A Poem by Sylvia

For shes icarus on a cloudy day
Melting flight feathers by a candles heat
As her Daedalus stands by screeching, "Higher!'

Then down, violet sea rising to meet her
And as numbing waves wrap her in darkness
She tastes sunrises behind her closed eyes

i see Ted being Daedalus...and the other Sylvia (Plath) being icarus...
Mostly cloudy days for her...and hopefully there was a sunrise for her in the end...and she is enjoying them now.
needs a couple apostrophes...but a really intense, short piece of writing.
