Life, death, rebirth

Life, death, rebirth

A Poem by Kismet
"

About someone who i gave my body, but stole my heart....

"
I try to forget the thing that you once said,
Real love just comes for free
but it will run away from me
And while I pretend that I don't care
I know I'll fall, that's why I'm scared
You only want my body
but with it my mind shall come
we'll call it love
a small beating drum...
Just for you to beat on
only for a sense of fun
until you're gone
my soul runs through your fingers
they spark electricity
and speak to my egocentricity,
you feel pure and intent on comforting my heart
but while you do, my soul cracks apart,
I need a love to call my own
not to posses, a gift to hone,
but a gift from the cosmos
a shining magical new earth
from life to death,
death to rebirth....
