She needs a Prince

She needs a Prince

A Poem by Kismet

She wants to hold his hand
set to sea he is her land
She wants nothing, only to drowned
until then she falls to the ground
Her lips part only slightly
She doesn't take love too lightly
She noticed things do changed
bullets fire at close range
she wonders can she fall again?
or has she been too bent
can things really be the way they were?
Or is he only lying to her?
Can she forgive herself?
For putting her own feelings on the shelf
What is it she deserves?
She puts her dreams on reserve
She'll fight goodbye until the bitter end
She searches for someone with spare love to lend
Her heart beats wildly
she never feels mildly
Can he love her like she is?
Will he claim her as his?
can he be her protector?
Will he try to resurrect her?
She's lost in an endless sea
but he holds her willingly
will he ever be her prince?
or leave only a painful distance?
Will he suck her dry?

Leaving her to die?
