The Transition

The Transition

A Poem by Kismet
"

What happens when your love begins to drain you of life

"
Her vampire heart won't beat
she's falling into retreat
her eyes as intense as fire
Her loves turned her into a liar
She lusts for sex, and blood, and sorrow
Someone's feelings she must borrow
She cannot feel
She cannot heal
The pain is gone
perhaps she's forgotten too long
Can she remember who she was?
Or is she overtaken by her blood lust
Her eyes grow cold and angry
Her lips wet with thirst, she's hungry
No children, no lover
you're soulless, undercover
Your eyes won't cry, yet you quiver
your sadness flows like the deepest river
Your wombs barren and dead,
No human thoughts fill your head
things can never be the same
yet your life always remains...
