Tide

Tide

A Poem by Kismet

Two halves of me are fighting,
fighting side by side
crashing, waving, pulling me down
while my sea creates the tide
the water depths where creatures loom
the real me in shadows hide,
as i age quicker and quicker,
try to awaken, but my time I bide,
Do i wait for the right moment?
Or do I say yes, and go on a wild ride?
Do i stay where I am,
with nothing to confide?
I needn't be strong
I've already died...
