incuribility

incuribility

A Poem by freelancejouster

incuribility, what a mouthful

what a sorry state to place your life in.

i've heard that we only get one,

life, that is,

at least once,

i'm sure, in a song or something,

especially lately.

and there's just an ache

that i feel,

and somewhere inside,

close, i think, to the smaller of my lungs,

caused by circumstances unchangeable,

or so i've been told.

i'm quite sure i need to listen better,

or bitterly,

or whatever.

Very honest and beautiful. i like the simple wording. It's full of honesty and innocence. Thanks.

i know what it's like to be in a funk. there just isn't anything than can make it better. it's good to be able to externalize it through poetry for even a tiny bit of reprieve.
