A Poem by freelancejouster

i could feel it in my powder-white bones,
bleached by sun and circumstance,
that things could not get much worse from here.

I know that feeling. Lately, I've had it often.
But, then......IT DID. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

;)
This is good stuff. Good poetry. The reader immediatley wants to know what's going on....and in not telling us, you leave us with that longing. :)
And that longing will keep us coming back!

Cheers!

sounds like an entity that just won't give up.... but things can always get worse, and then it rains... bank on it.

Clean, tight, crystal clear. Perfect for a realization rendering.

A fine poem,a photograph, a snapshot, every word fits, every word creates images and associations, good work, well done.

i know the feeling. total despair. it's never anything that we can't handle or get over even when we feel that way. sometimes it feels like we're stuck in looping footage and can't get the hell out. great poem. very succinct.
