xenoglossy

A Chapter by freelancejouster

i had always itched at the sight of snails
and slugs
and most everything else on the ground,
fearing them so creepy and crawly that
all else ceased to matter
while escaping from them

when suddenly,

j'aime chocolat et chouquettes
et
meme escargot!
au boucoup de cuisine de francais
!

xenoglossy: language learned spontaneously and without prior knowledge

(it's short and silly and doesn't make a lot of sense)

goes to show how some people have the natural ability to pick up language everywhere they go. it's funny how he would cringe at the sight of snails and then end up liking escargot.
