remora

remora

A Chapter by freelancejouster

knees locked, duck-footed,

slack-jawed, nose turned skyward,

gazing with dismay

at the two ton giant

who, previously, had been meandering about the countryside,

minding his own damn business

until someone decided to ram into his foot

with one of those tiny little rolling rock things

that all of the teenie little people seemed to have lately.

he missed the days when he could sit down without

finding a city in the way.

There's practically an entire story in this one chapter. Great writing!

oh how delightful, I felt for the giant, and how dare those cities and rolling rock things get in his way, if I was of a mind to be really peed off and i was a giant, I would kick that rolling rock thing right into tomorrow.....

it's irony that it's the little people who are in the way and not the other way around.
