storming

storming

A Poem by freelancejouster

electric lines fell down,
collapsing right in front of
our method of transportation,

and truthfully,
a bicycle wasn't the brightest idea
on a night like tonight,
with the wind
attacking our faces
and everything else around.

but we'll persist on,
weaving among the fell
and hopefully, eventually
reaching our destination
in one piece.

I like this poem, purely because as I was reading it I got interrupted by a friend showing me pictures of freak weather which led into lightning storms :P A nice poem though, that scary thought of being out in a storm.
