A Poem by freelancejouster

obscured by cobwebs,

but you're hardly hiding,

shadowed features flickering,

with recognition, loathing.

she stalks along behind you,

flitting from corner to corner,

a bird, a shade, never quite seen.

tattered robes,

trail behind,

gathering dust and mud,

disintigrating.

and the blood-stained hound,

trails behind,

nose to the ground,

erasing evidence

as he follows their scent.
