seasons

seasons

A Poem by freelancejouster

curry favor.

salt your lies.

pepper your work

with imagination.

cream mixed with coffee,

colors your skin.

until tomato-red

blush,

covers it.

coat everything

in a heavy layer

of glaze,

the truth is never needed.

I am having trouble grasping the central idea of this poem , however , I do have an idea from the last para , which for me gives meaning for the rest of the poem , and the last line , ironically , though it says :

"the truth is never needed" , it is very truthful in itself :)

One suggestion though , the title of the poem would be more appropriate if you change it from SEASONS to SEASONINGS .

A good read .

i agree, it is fairly vague, but at the same time, it gives an insight on your muse, which is always welcome.. good work! keep it up!
