I Miss...

I Miss...

A Poem by Erin Phoenix
"

A poem about missing the little things after someone whos gone.

"

I miss you asking me about my day.

I miss you asking if I was okay.

I miss your smile on your beautiful face.

I miss your body here but at a slower pace.

I miss your hands and feet.

I miss your voice and wish it were in my head on repeat.

I miss your groans and your laugh.

I miss you not worring about yours, but my path.

I miss your eyes and small, perfect nose.

I miss your hair and how in the wind it flows.

I miss the song your sorrow sings.

I miss the giggles your jokes bring.

I miss you crazy.

I miss you lazy.

I miss you angry.

I miss you melancholy.

Over all I miss the dreams that you joined me in.

I miss you telling me that your gone and it's okay about how hard it's been.

I miss your room that is now empty.

I miss you plus me was we.

I miss you as a sister and a mother.

I'll miss you always no matter what might accure.

Such a sad poem. I like sad, too. My favorite line:

"I miss your voice and wish it were in my head on repeat."

Sound is the best way to recall something, for me at least. And someone's voice can bring back so, so much. I really appreciate you sharing, it's the honesty that makes it a good poem :-)

First of all, I'm sorry to hear about your sister. Secondly, I know how that feel to miss someone so dearly like that. Last of all, it just reminded me of someone I missed, too...

Other than that, it's all good here, a real heart felt writing you got there...

Beautiful tribute to a wonderful sister. She is with you , in your thoughts , in your words , in your heart and in your soul. The love you feel for her is evident in this remarkably touching poem. Angel wings surround her soul that she may soar above looking after those she loved. Know that she has seen these words and that her spirit rejoices in the knowledge that she lives on within those she loves.

You are a wonderful woman , an excellent sister and a beautiful poet.
