Haunted By His WordsA Poem by free2bmeHe told me it was my fault he had to strangle me...and that is the hardest part to swallow.Haunted She’s haunted by his words of that night, Stored in her unconscious minds vault, The play over and over repeatedly, "B***h don't turn this and make it my fault". She hadn't realized until lately, The damage his statement did do, She’s carried the blame on her shoulders, You see justice claimed it her fault too. She tells her story to others, So they will know where to turn, She doesn't want them to go through, The tough lessons she’s had to learn. No matter what they may tell you, It isn't her blame to be, She was doing what she was told, He’d no right to hurt her, you see. She doesn't know how it plays out, She knows less with each passing day, So give her peace and understanding, This To God, I solemnly pray....
