Flare

Flare

A Poem by free2bee

Fire simmers, flaring into rage

frustrated,thwarted,it is a revning beast

pure intense,passionate rage

where once there were only tender feelings,

there are now conflicting emotions,

love and absolute rage,

abide together,

seperate and linked

anger,

pure,violent rage

with nowhere to go but inward

towards the self

destruction lay in wait

constant companion now

is the fiery beast

jaws dripping with animosity

restrained with only the slenderest of chains

awaiting the pull that would rend them apart

what might it be?

Nicely Done! I love the ending on a question... usually you wouldn't want to end that way on a poem but with this one it adds to the impact...very well done!
