Ain't Nothing NewA Poem by Freddie StradlinthoughtsI used to think i was so original, Unique, a breath of fresh air, The world better inhale slowly, Cos it aint ever seen anyone like me. They’d chant my name for millennia to come, I’d make this earth’s threads come undone, And knit it anew under my own thumb. But then i fell in line, Became a tool, All my eccentricities died under rule, And now, now it seems, That all my dreams, are dispensed in vending machines so common place, It saddens me that my greatest aspirations have already been achieved by men much less deserving than i. © 2010 Freddie StradlinAuthor's Note
