The Storm

The storm of elution can not touch reality,
but only heckle at what the eyes see.

I have seen the fallen ones fade.
I have walked among the shattered.
I have tasted my own bitterness.
I have lolled in rigorous sorrow.

I have been the spot of ridicule.
I have been extremely indigent.
I have made many wrong choices.

I will face the consequence of all of my doings,
just as others will face theres.

But, no matter how hard the winds blow me down,
and the icy coldness covers me,
I will never give up, I will never give in.

I know the feeling to truly smile,
and the blessings that life can hold.
I will forever retain hope that good things will come,
but I to have to do my part in order to receive.

My heart believes that the storm will clear,
and I will be jubilant unto God,
for helping me find my way home.
