What I Did On Summer Vacation

What I Did On Summer Vacation

A Poem by Whiles

What did I learn

on summer vacation?

That cold baked beans

which should have been hot

merit

a punch to the jaw

in a public place.

And that madwomen reign

because neighbors’ eyes

widen, but no one

calls the police.
