Justice

Justice

A Poem by Whiles

If I were King

I’d want noble hounds—

their smooth heads resting places

for my regal hands

If I were King I’d have

marble floors in summer

for the cooling of

royal feet

and braziers in winter

to chase the chill

away.

If I were King I’d scatter

largesse.

I would honor

my noblesse

oblige.

I’d pay the family of

every girl

I ruined.

I really like this, nice original take on royalty & the suffering of people during that time. ^_^
