Lost and Found

Lost and Found

A Poem by Drizzy Frass

Sense of direction seems to be the easy task at hand
Yet still you get lost even with a compass and map in hand

The signs are evident as to where to go next
But the reality is that you are in denial as to what to do next

No matter where you turn there’s that gut feeling to follow
However the mind plays tricks on which decisions you should follow

Time passes by and you wish being lost wasn't so confusing

But your heart assures you that being lost isn't so confusing

Now you get lost, lost in the heat of it all
And you just keep wondering how and where you get lost, lost in the thrill of it all

Suddenly being lost was exactly what you needed to be found
As if your whole life depended on those lost moments compared to the happiness you have found.
