Idle Teens Denounce GodA Poem by franzestyIdle teens lounge like lions basking in savannah sun they cover surfaces, an infestation of apathy discussing what is happening. They just don't know, And they'll pretend they know - make grand statements, 'We're the omniscient youth!,
The omnipotent youth!,
Transcendent youth!',
A generation that replaced God; dismantled him
from the ivory skies;
Picked at the ill conceived constructions of power -
Power is nothing when you're young and invincible.
