Father

Father

A Poem by Frank M Keller

I have no more words left to say, I have many question that I will never have the answer to.

The question of who blood flows threw these vein's it is not the one who took me in and showed me what it is to be a true man and loved me regardless.

The truth revealed in twisted words of anger and confirmation from the one who brought me into this world, life forever changed.

Would things be as they are now, had that choice so many years ago made.

Would I question who I am?

That sad day on the start of the new year, words of death of that half of the blood the flows, that I never knew gone. All answers taken away.

Only a faded memory of a man in the drab olive green uniform, yet we share the same name to never forget that man I never met that man I should have called father.
