Here I Sit.

Here I Sit.

A Poem by Frank M Keller

I sit here, the words still ring in my ear

words of the past things that I can not control...

Believe me when I say they are words you would not wish to hear.

I stand tall, my head held high, I must remain strong to fight the demons of the past but with a gentle hand, and a soothing ear.

The language I speak is very harsh but true to my word, as my word is all I have.

Trying to construct a tethered bond built on trust and sincere love that would only become stronger, no matter what the tests of time.

Sometimes words are never spoken, sometimes they don't need to be, just the willingness to trust.
