t-Shirt

A Poem by Frank M Keller

Ahhh...

washed a million times-

but its that love that keep driving you back.

Oh, these words fall on deaf ears, not willing to listen to emotions but, instead, to lust and desire.

It is hard to break away from that which we loved but could never realize...

Will it break the bond, will it destroy what glimmer of reality that's left in s singular sea of sadness?

I see you and in you

dis-pare

I  try to lend a hand but you push me away,

“YOU'RE just like all the rest,” you shutter and say with a smile!

OH, that smile of so many meanings, the words that bleed from my mouth saying not what you need to hear but that which allows you to know me as the air you breathe...

you do not see me, nor do you realize that every last word spoke was of love for you in a way I will forever fail to explain-

like that old faded T-shirt I refuse to throw away, holding more memorizes than that of my futures passed.

I take a step back now, and I see that hereafter that would have never been if I didn't start with the simple word of

Hello.
