Angel

Angel

A Poem by Francis Rosenfeld

Tranquil drops of sunshine seep through porous skies, liquid in their essence, softly molding reality with unsubstantial fingers. Light curves around objects, revealing them.

The angel day-dreams. Wind blows through her wings and radiant dust from her fingers slowly settles on the hem of her robe.  Photons sift through her and swirl lights and shadows like tempering water for a bath.

Aerial wings dissolve in the backdrop and raise echoes in the waves of light, tickling existence just to pass the time. She is there and not but present forever in a larger dimension known only to God.

The angel's beauty remains unperceived in the infinite folds of reality. One light, two lights, many lights, same light.
