WHO MADE US B******S

WHO MADE US B******S

A Poem by francis

WHO MADE US B******S.

WHY ARE WE BLAMED FOR WHAT WE DID NOT DO
CAST AWAY THAN A LIKE A VIRAL DISEASE
REJECTED BY A SOCIETY THAT SHOULD HAVE CARED
AND LEFT TO THE CRUEL HANDS OF FATE.

WAS IT OUR FAULT THAT OUR MOTHERS WERE WOMEN OF EASY VIRTUES
OPENING HER LEGS FOR EVERY DICK AND HARRY THAT CROSSES HER PATH
FALLING AS PREYS TO OUR WAYWARD FATHERS
BRINGING US OUT WITH NO HOPE OF HOPE.

OR OUR VERY CARING FATHERS
WHO UNDERSTOOD OUR MOTHERS
AND WILLINGLY OFFERED TO HELP, KNOWING THE RESULTS OF THEIR ACTIONS
YET NEVER GAVE IT A THOUGHT.

BUT AGAINST ALL ODDS WE STOOD UP TALL
REJECTING THE GIFTS OF OUR FATHERS
COMPETING WITH THE SO CALLED FREE BORNS
FORCING OUR NAMES ON THE SANDS OF TIME

WE ARE NOT B******S FOR WE DID NOT CHOOSE
AND AGAINST ALL ODDS WE STOOD UP TALL
IF GOD DEEMED IT FIT TO GIVE US CHANCE
WHO IS MERE MAN TO TREAT US RUDE.

B*****d. A hard word.

Here in the USA. B*****d rarely used. A lot of single mothers. I believe negative push can be good pushing. Rude people need to be taught. Every person deserved a fair chance. Thank you for sharing the powerful words. Left a lot for the reader to think about.
