Garden of Eden

Garden of Eden

A Poem by ghost

Dismissed from the Garden of Eden,

you return to the arms of the sea, swallowing her hymn

Stuck with tainted fingers

but endowed with beauty that lingers

Though what is beauty when no longer pure?

they locked your soul away, there is no cure

You’ll forever be corrupt now,

you want to go back, but tell me how "

Curiosity is your sin and ripening is your curse

your loss of innocence, you can’t reverse.
