All There is But Memory

The band reminds me of 

       you

Whenever I heard them

       play,

reminds me of how you

   look so good

playing that clarinet...

The phone ringing in

    the night

 reminds me of how

I fell asleep reading

your messages for me

so caring and loving...

Those pressed leaf in my

  old notes reminds

   me of how our 

 friendship started...

And those poems reminds

me of the burning love

 that we once shared

  perfectly etched

 between those old 

      papers... 

All there is but memory

So touching, a softly spoken poem full of both love and heartbreak, I adore it, it's excellent, I can't wait for your next poem! My favourite bit is:
"And those poems reminds

papers..." It is so descriptive and intriguing, the remembrance of an old passion and immortality on paper is inspired. Excellent :D

I like this. The one thing I will say is it is almost too much to the point. Some emotional feeling, something other than simple action, a little depth. One or two more lines/verses could make this very profound. great last verse, etched, the emotions are written in the pages of the book that contains the past love. I want to hear more of how that love made you feel! why you miss it so. maybe that is the draw though!
