She

She

A Poem by EmotionalBLACKmade
"

Love songs rise slowly at times: this is to be sung out of a well spring of true romance mixed with the knowledge that we leave ourselves open to the currents of emotions when touched...by l.o.v.e....

"

SHE

She’s a slow burner

I’ll be a late riser

She captured my heart

Love’s on the horizon

Can’t tell if she wants to go marry me

I hide my charm under philosophy

Our chemistry may become history

Please don’t take your longing eyes off me

Love is strong

I want to call her

But she calls me over

Beaten me again

My eternal poser

I’m bitten, I’m healed, and salvation’s not free

I’d give you my all, if I was, savvy

Let me kiss you like Ray played the ivory

And hold you until the night says now sleep

Love is strong

She’s a mind racer

And life it don’t phase her

She picked at my heart

And this love is strong

She’s a slower burner

I want to call her

It’s all in slow motion

Too good to go on

Though this love is strong

EmotionalBLACKmade
What do you think of the prospects of this being sung? Hearts wax lyrical...but did I?! :)
