For What It's Worth

For What It's Worth

A Poem by Franky Martinez

I shall pass on to you the pages in my minds diary, allow all the memories to flutter, they're deep.
Read the feelings and accept when they strike.
Like a flower, they blossom with no such thing as spite.
Intact with its roots that the earth beneath it hides.
Uncover the dirt and reveal the memoirs of fortune.
Fortunately you hold nothing hideous.
Only vigorous, vivid images, colorful instances, and through these distances,
help you realize that you glamorize this earth.
Now that I've found you I have nothing left to search.
For all that it's worth, a piece of mind is worth more than anything on this Earth.
