The darkest moment

that's how the darkest moment feels like...

a tall wall blocks my view

a sad smile lies on my face

hard cruel words rip my skin

you are already gone

 

since that day

there is no sunshine

there is no love

there is no faith

 

long before you came

i had hopes

i had dreams

i was brave

 

now what's left

is only pain

is only rage

is only darkness

 

you took my heart with you...

will you keep it safe?

This is really good. I love the anaphora you use to emphasize on the feeling of your piece. There is a ton of emotions I felt while I read this. I admire your honesty and emotions, and I believe you are a wonderful writer. Keep up the good work, and also keep your head up as well. Cheers :)
