Oh Dragonfly! Dragonfly! Bug of such noble heritage!A Poem by Alexander FoxLittle Spider on the ceiling, dreaming dreams of flies How do i tell my sweet sweet lover that she scares me with her sighs? Little Bird on my windowpane, singing songs of love, how do i tell my mother that her tears drown me in a flood? Oh Dragonfly! Dragonfly! Bug of such noble heritage! How do i tell my friends that i care not for their homage? As i sit alone, in this room i neither posses nor borrow, these thoughts ring through my head, oh how so hollow, As i dream of a kingdom of love, the birds send me white rain from above, At the end of the day i still have my smile, filled with so much joy, and pain, and guile.
