Your Country Song Corey Ida

Your Country Song Corey Ida

A Poem by Alexander Fox

Well i know you know im sorry, whether you say so or not.

So here is a song to tell you that you'll not be forgot.

Well im sorry that i promised, even sorrier that i lied.

And if i could have lived with it, i would have never said goodbye.

But i am just a man, no matter what i say, and some things are just the way they are, and we wernt meant to be.

Well you know that im still hurting, just as much as you think you are,

and this is disconcerting and will leave some bitter scars.

But i couldn't stand to do it, live a lie without an end,

and i do want to be there for you when the light is dim.

But right now you want me bloody, bleeding, Crying tears of pain.

You wish i wasn't breathing, it's driving you insane.

Right now your probably thinking, what you would do to me,

and i know your probably dreaming of my death in misery.

But i just wanted you to know that i needed more then just a break.

For i know now what i saw then, and our love was only fake.

More of a rant than a write. Very bitter, and full of justifications.
