Hearts have thoughts

Hearts have thoughts

A Poem by Alexander Fox
"

Another poem from my ex-girlfriend. I don't know why I keep posting her poems she made for me......but I think poetry should be shared. It also helps to prove my point that women are fickle and cruel creatures.

"

Hearts have thoughts

Longing to sing them out

Yet words cannot say what a heart talks about

Souls have secrets

Trapped 'neath unshed tears

Yet mouths do not speak for unreasonable fears

Minds have knowledge

A body doesn't tell

Conforming naturally to society's spell

I have you

You have me

Fighting amongst trying to see

A face but a mask

A physical lie

Just another boundary between you and I

A heart but a prison

Locking in our dreams

Hopes clawing for escape coming in screams

A body but a deciever

Bringing false wants

Lusts of the flesh constantly haunts

Eyes but a window

Open let me see

Let your soul brighten what the world is to me

Arms but a home

The only one i find

Let your be strong warm and kind

A smile but a witness

A statue of a care

Let your feelings be an artist expecting stare

My love lifts my chin

As to see my eyes

Of which my soul is seen to my demise

My love wipes my tears

From my solemn face

Of which fears are stolen and love fills the space

My love strokes my cheek

His face nuzzles mine

A touch so unique as fingers run my spine

My love relieves my soul

Supports my every whim

Nothing ever tells the apreciation had for him

Love cannot live without life

Life cannot live without love

Behold the one true blessing from above.

I don't understand why she walked away. I'm glad, but i don't comprehend the move from here to......nothing, in the matter of a month or two. I think this is the last poem I have of hers.

I couldn't possibly agree more that women are fickle and cruel creatures. I'd also like to throw in vindictive, deceitful, faithless, arogant, and frightened of commitment. I think that covers most of my feelings on the subject. I didn't bother reading the poem, seeing how it isn't yours. I just read the quote at the beggining and felt the need to say something. I also felt the need to right a REALLY long review. So this is my attempt at writing a really long review, all because I'm incredibly bored at one thirty on a friday. I was supposed to go in and see about getting a job today, but the Ralph's manager dude wasn't in today....again. Its starting to get really ridiculous. So far i've earned six points writing this. its a good thing they dont check the reviews, cuz i'd be out six points! and thats pretty good for a guy at one hundred and seven points. that brings me up to one hundred and thirteen. OH, one hundred fourteen. this is kinda fun. i wonder how far into this you'll get before you realize its complete bullshit. probably about this far. or this far. who knows. I certainly dont. eight points. so your at school right now, boring yourself with getting learnt while i sit around and rot my brain with poetry and star wars battlefront. its quite an interestingly boring life i lead. nine points. If your still reading this, you've got NO LIFE!!!!! so of course your still reading it. OOPS, i just insulted you....oh well, adds to the fun. well, i think ima stop pretty soon. Im starting to lose interest. ten points. thats my short attention span for you. Well, if you've gotten this far, CONGRATU-F****N-LATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk to you later bro. Peace out to my brother from another mother. eleven points. ttyl.
