If you want?A Poem by Alexander FoxI want to be a poet, but I don't want to claim my poetry. I want everyone to hold it, see it, dream it, think it. It is not mine to own. It is my gift, or curse, to you, and you, and you, and all the rest as well.
I sat here staring.
Grasping for the words, the thought, the mindset, the muse. I searched for the way to tell you. Tell you what you are. You sat there staring. Rifling through my eyes for me, my heart, my dreams, my future. You searched for the movement. The movement to show me who I am. We strive together. Dreaming through what we know, what we feel, what we want, what we need. We search for our future. Our future of love and happiness forever. Forever will be too short a time to share our happiness, our sorrow, our bodies, our lives. If you want? © 2008 Alexander FoxAuthor's Note
