ResponseA Poem by Alexander FoxNot my writing, as people who have read my other pieces will probably notice immediately. This is the response of a girl once known to me to my poem "prompt", which was originally a midnight text message.Secluded to a heart longing to be shared what keeps me so isolated? it's not as if i'm scared
What keeps me so seperated so unable to see even through open windows a clear view cannot be
I can feel your heart its warmth exceeding mine gives my love desires to its hidden shine
such optimism in society as if love endures all but in their world it's sure that love will come to fall
But give thanks to our rebellion and that we fell so hard I will love you hoping my heart will drop its guard
It's hard to stay within the world what is to me not being much within its own my heart dwells reality is only sure within your touch.
