Better Just Jump

Better Just Jump

A Poem by Daniel Fourie

They say "it's only a kiss" - sometimes it is
But when she's got a face like she does, you're going to start to miss
Go in with a mindset of just hooking up - what the f**k
Leave with a mindset of "I've found the one. Now I'm done"

I've been told I come on too strong, but what am I supposed to do when you're the one?
Don't meet her, don't greet her, don't ever say you like her
Treat her like crap. Opening the door - now what's that for?
But I'm different. I treat girls like they're heaven-sent

Love was pure in every way
I thought you were in my life to stay
But everything changes when the sun don't shine
You'll be left confused and asking why x2

Better just jump, better just flee, end of any happiness in me x4
