(A mess of a dreamer)

I’m a stranger, and I look like one

but if you look deeper, you wouldn’t run.

I spent many years trying to get closer

but each time I try, I can only see clearer

that I’m not the one and I was never meant to be

so I took some time alone, before it all fell over me.

I’ve been watching you from a distance

and slowly feeling the coldness                

that coldness that the world surrounded you by

And here I am wondering, was it worth the try?
