A Chance

I'm looking for a chance that I'll never get, but sometimes our loneliness leads us to creativity, and it helps us to find ourselves. And I want to thank that one person who inspired me to write this.

Open your eyes and take a look all around,

open your heart and try to find your piece of mind

close your eyes now and go back in time.

You’re going along with this life,

and as you go, you run and run

but you know that something

will bring you back, you’ll come back.

Remember the night we spent alone

you were talking and I smiled

you took my whole world by storm

as I just sat there and tried...

I tried to memorize every moment 

cause I knew it wouldn't last, I was right.

But now, life is harder than I ever thought

and you were just gone and faded

sometimes I make a wish then I get lost

in an endless lonely silence.

I wonder and I wish I knew

how I could ever reach you,

I searched the world but then I found out

that you were hiding in your room.

Open your eyes, open your heart 

and bring that little dreamer back to life.

And I, I’ll be here waiting

patiently waiting for a chance

a chance for you and I.
