Keep Goin' Higher

V1:
She was hurt by a boy who took her for granted
Because of her selfless, forgiving heart
But a heart that kept on getting damaged
Friends tried telling her he was bad news from the start
But she kept on waitin',
Handin' out chances
And passin' glances
To let him know she was being patient
But somebody else came along

Chorus:
Goodbye, troublesome child
Used her for her sympathy
Hello, quiet, young man
With a sweet, sweet smile
She took his hand
They kissed on an autumn night
In the twilight, in the corn maze
She's in a wonderful daze
She's finally reached the top
And I say "don't stop"
Keep goin' higher
And never stop

V2:
Took 2 months to ask her to be his girlfriend
But no worries, it was worth it in the end
He's so romantic, respectful, and charming
Their love is grande, precious, and really darling
She hopes he is the one,
And he plays guitar
Her head is in the stars
Leaves to say goodbye, but then tackles her by the porch,
Gives her one more kiss in the spring rain

-Chorus-

Bridge:
She can't imagine being with anybody else
She's putting in all her trust
I hope that this lasts forever
And I am so happy for her

-Chorus-(2x)
