Go Back

V1:
It's nice to know that you don't want to hurt me,
Nice to know you thought of my feelings
Told me you wanted to take it slow
I wrapped my fingers around yours
And we walked on the sand under the moon
But then everything happened again way too soon
Your lips touched mine
With all might

Chorus:
It was startling and confusing
You think that you have used me
Oh, I don't know how I feel
I like the rush
But I don't wanna be left behind
If only you read the inside of my mind
You can be gentle some times
And other times full of passion
But that's the way i like it
Cause it's all balanced out,
The perfect combination
I'd go back
I'd go back to feel your hands on my waist
I'd go back to feel the lips I taste
My hands in your hair
I'd go back to when we were still talking
I'd go back to when we didn't care

V2:
It's really strange that I had the time of my life
But yet you think you ruined the night
Telling me you should have control
Are you just standing here, waiting to be told?
Admitted that you were stupid, acted depressed and saddened
But the next day, don't act like it didn't happen
I can't be fooled
Been there before

-Chorus-

Bridge:
Where do we stand?
Am I alone?
Or are we walking hand-in-hand again?
Evaluate your actions
But I can't wait here forever
There needs to be answer

-Chorus-(2x)
